Local deputies and volunteers trained for an active shooter situation at The Masters University Thursday morning. A girl is fighting for her life, leaving her family asking the community for blood donations to help her survive. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are planning to conduct a specialized Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation on Saturday. College of the Canyons literary and arts magazine cul-de-sac will release its annual volume at a special 10th year anniversary reception on Friday. Plus this week’s weather.
