COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY – Here’s another community service opportunity. Would you like to help the homeless of our Santa Clarita Valley? You could earn up to 10 service hours with “Family Promise of SCV” Box City fundraising event. It will take place on October 7th and 8th in Heritage Park in Valencia. Registration is online at www.familypromisescv.org/  The entry fee is $25.00 which also gets you a t-shirt. See Mrs. Fulleman at the SV Library if you have any questions.

ENRICHED ENGLISH – Today is the day! Any eighth grader who missed last week’s Enriched English meeting should plan on attending a brief session held during lunch TODAY in Room 105. Turn in the parent signatures to Room 619 or Room 105 by Friday, Sept. 8

CANYON FOOTBALL GAME – Friday, Sept 8th, at 7 pm, Canyon HS football is celebrating Sierra Vista Night during their Cowboy football game versus Oxnard. Sierra Vista students can show their ID card for free admission to the game! Also, Canyon would like to honor Sierra Vista’s student athletes who participate in after school sports.  They invite you to wear your team’s jersey and participate in a special on-field recognition before the game. Please gather at the end of the field under the scoreboard at 6:30 pm or before.Go Big Green!
