SPIRIT WEEK – This week is Spirit Week! Come dressed to school with these fun themes. There is a new theme every day of the week. Today: Meme day come dressed as your favorite meme (school appropriate), Friday: Pajama day. Hope to see all of you dressed up!

SAFE SCHOOL AMBASSADORS – Attention! We will have our first meeting in the MPR at lunch today! Please be sure to bring your food to the meeting on time as we will be starting promptly. Can’t wait to see you there!

Trailblazers Students of the Week – Congratulations Trailblazers Students of the Week, Haley Eddy and Noah Gage.  These two students are amazing, smart, and responsible. They always treat others with respect and are truly a pleasure to have in class.  We love having them on our team!

DFY IN SCV – DFYinSCV is hosting a donation drive the month of October. We are collecting toiletries (toilet paper, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, etc) to donate to local non-profits. If you have any donations, please drop them off in room 402 this month. Mrs. Sandoval will sign off on your community service hours sheet.

DEPUTIES OF THE MONTH – Team Rangers would like to congratulate our Deputies of the Month, Ashley Stoll, Alondra Lucero,  Liberty Floyd, Bruce Bustamante, Joey Reyes, & Luca Leon.  These students are respectful to their teachers, and are well liked by their peers and teachers.  They always put forth 100% effort in all that they do, and they exemplify the Rangers’ motto of Courage, Integrity & Perseverance!  It is an honor to have Ashley, Alondra,  Liberty, Bruce, Joey, & Luca on Team Rangers!

ADOPT A TEXAS SCHOOL – ASB wanted to thank the very thoughtful and generous students, family and staff members of Sierra Vista that contributed to our “Adopt a Texas School” donation drive that we had in September to help some of the victims of Hurricane Harvey. NINE larger boxes of items were collected and sent to Houston. Stevenson Middle School in Houston also wanted to send a HUGE thank you for all of the donations they received. The students are very grateful for all of the school supplies and hygienic items that were donated. You rock, Sierra Vista!
