SPIRIT WEEK – Hey Plainsman! This week is Holiday Spirit Week! Today is Pajama day, Tomorrow is Holiday Hats, Wednesday is Winter Wonderland Day (wear blue and white), and Thursday is Holiday Sweater day! ASB will come and give candy to students showing school spirit during D and E periods. Hope to see you showing your holiday spirit!

POSTER CONTEST – Hey, SV students. Have you noticed some of the 8th grade posters from our contest are missing from our library? Well they’re not missing. They are on display at the Canyon Country Public Library Teen Room. Now our local community can see some of the great things that we do at Sierra Vista. Stop by to see this display at the public library until Thursday, December 14th.

HELP KEEP SHELTER ANIMALS WARM THIS WINTER – Canyon High School’s NHS (National Honor Society) a very highly looked at club needs your help. They are doing a helpful drive for the Castaic Animal shelter. They need donations of, Blankets, Towels, and toys. They need all the help they can get for the homeless animals at the shelter. They are coming to pick up the donations on Monday December 11th at 3pm. The donation bin will be in Mr. Ippolito’s room, Room 301. We hope you can donate and would love anything you can get!

SSA – On Wednesday December 13th Safe School Ambassadors will be holding our annual holiday party after school in room 627. If you plan on attending the party please see Mr. Drabinski for the food and drink sign-ups.
