TALENT SHOW – Come check out Sierra Vista’s amazing talents on Thursday January 25th from 6:00 to 7:00pm in Sierra Vista’s MPR. Tickets are free for Sierra Vista students. For non-Sierra Vista students tickets will be $2 and they will be sold at the door. Hope to see you there!!!

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES – Today in clubs and activities we have the anime club in room 902, film club in room 615, choir concert after school, and career speaker at lunch.

AOC APPLICATION – Attention all 8th graders. AOC (Academy of the Canyons) is beginning their application process for the 2018-2019 school year. All students interested must attend an AOC Information Night to learn about the school and application process. There are two information nights: Tuesday, January 23rd 6:30-8:30pm at The Canyon High School Performing Arts Center and Wednesday January 24th from 6:30-8:30pm at West Ranch High School.

FAMILY RESOURCE ART FAIR – The turn in day for the Family Resource Fair Art Contest is THIS FRIDAY! Information and entry forms can be found on the home page of the Sierra Vista website AND on the Beginning Art webpage. If you’d like more information or need art supplies to complete your piece, come to the art room – Room 1206- at brunch or lunch and Mrs. Etienne will help you get started with what you need. The theme this year is “Many Families, One Community”.

CHOIR – Are you missing the holidays? Do you wish you could go back in time? Join Sierra Vista Choir on Tuesday, January 23 at 7 PM for a holiday throwback concert! We will be singing all of your holiday favorites! Entry is free for any student with a valid ID and there will be baked goods for sale.

CINDY HERRON CAREER TALK – Pop superstar Cindy Herron is coming to Sierra Vista! Cindy is a member of En Vogue, one of the top 5 highest selling American female music groups in history. She is also an actress in both movies and TV. If you have ever wanted your name in lights? wanted to be a star? or explore a career in the performing arts come join us. The Career Talk will be held in the library on Tuesday at Lunch. You may eat your lunch during the presentation.
