WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP – Attention 8th graders attending the Washington DC trip this upcoming June. There will be a meeting during lunch on Thursday, February 8th in Ms. Kontis’ room, 626. We will discuss details of the trip including your room assignments. If you are still interested in going on the trip, there is still room, see Ms. Kontis in Room 626 for information.

VALEN-TEEN DANCE – The City of Santa Clarita is hosting its 3rd annual Valen-Teen Dance, exclusively for SCV junior high and high school students. There will be a DJ, photo booth, food, and best of all, admission is free! Simply show your student ID card, and enjoy the fun this Friday, February 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Newhall Community Center.

AP HONORS INFO – Do you plan to attend a four-year college or university after high school? Don’t miss out on the AP and Honors Info meeting for parents and students! Please come to learn more about the benefits and requirements of the AP program. It will be held at Canyon High School on Monday, February 12, at 6:30 pm.

JR. HIGH SEMINAR – Attention 7th grade Students from Junior High Seminar, semester one.  This week you will get your permission slip from your English teacher for our field trip to UCLA.  Make sure you get them filled out and signed by your parent and turned in to the ASB office no later than next Thursday, February 15th.  We will not accept field trip slips after that date.  If you have any questions, see your  Junior High Seminar teacher.
