A NIGHT IN PARIS DANCE – Join us for ” A Night in Paris” dance. Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday, 2/20 and Wednesday for $5, and $8 on Thursday, and $10 on Friday 2/23. Bring money for the “Stuffed Crepes” food truck and the photographer. We will have games and much more at the dance!!!

MEDIEVAL TIMES – Attention seventh grade students! The Medieval Times field trip draws near! This Thursday, February 15th, we will be leaving the front of the school promptly at 3:30. Buses will begin loading at 3:15. Be advised that we are on a strict schedule, so please be on time. If you are late, the buses may leave without you. Your transportation, admission, and food have already been paid for, but you may wish to bring money for souvenirs. Please check which bus you are on in the glass case by the counseling office, so you will be ready to board this Thursday. If you have any questions, please see your history teacher.

PARENT UNIVERSITY WORKSHOP – La Mesa Jr high invites all Jr high families to a Parent University workshop coming up Thursday, February 22 from 6-8 pm. Learn about Career and College opportunities. For more details and information please see Mrs. Saunders in the counseling office here at SV!

THRILLING THURSDAY – This Thursday is Thrilling Thursday since we don’t have school on Friday for a fun friday! Come out to the quad at lunch and play a special top hat game for President’s Day. Be sure to bring a partner to compete and win candy! Hope to see you there!

TRAILBLAZER STUDENTS OF THE WEEK – Congratulations Trailblazers Students of the week, Melissa Sordetta and Zachery Daggs. Melissa is a wonderful, caring young lady. She is quiet in class, respectful and on task. She is always willing to help others. Zachary is a terrific student! He brings effort and enthusiasm to class on a daily basis. He is respectful and kind to everyone! We feel fortunate to have both of them on our team!

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES – Today in Clubs and activities, the Fandom Club meets in room 1205, Thrilling Thurday in the quad at lunch, the Video Club in room 101 after school, and the Medival Times field trip.
