CLUBS & ACTIVITIES – Today in Clubs and Activities the Photography Club meets in room 301 at lunch.

ASB – Attention 7th graders that would like to apply to have ASB for their 8th grade elective class: there will be a mandatory informational meeting in room 1002 at the beginning of lunch on Wednesday, March 20th. We will discuss the application procedures and responsibilities of ASB students. If you have any questions, or you are unable to make the meeting, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 1002 ahead of time.

EXTREME PE – Starting March 19th to March 29th, the PE department will be hosting their Extreme PE fundraiser. More information will be given on Monday 3/19 during your PE classes. Take a look at last years Extreme PE day.

LUNCHTIME ACTIVITY – Hey Plainsmen! St. Patrick’s Day was this weekend, and we will be celebrating with a lunchtime activity this week! Prizes will be awarded to the winners! Come out to the quad on Wednesday, March 21, to search for the leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Sign up by yourself, or sign up with three friends to form a team of four. Sign ups begin TODAY in Room 1002.

BOOK FAIR – The Scholastic Book Fair is here! And for the first time, with at least a dollar donation, you have a chance to win a prize from our SV Library. Pick a pencil of your choice from “The Giving Tree” for each dollar you donate to the library. If it has green ink at the end of it, then you are a winner! We have lots of different prizes for you to choose from. So come and buy books, fun school supplies, or make a donation at our Paws for Reading Scholastic Book Fair.

ERIN CHOI – Congratulations to Erin Choi from Team Gold Rush. Sierra Vista is proud to announce that Erin has be awarded the 2018 Carson Scholar Award and will receive a $1000 scholarship award that will be invested for her college education. Great job, Erin!
