CLUBS & ACTIVITIES – Today in Clubs and Activities Fun Friday will be out at the quad.

8TH GRADE ASB – Attention 7th grade students that applied for ASB for their 8th grade elective: the list of accepted applicants will be posted in the ASB bulletin cabinet that is on the back of the office at the end of the day on Friday, April 13th. The list will also be posted on Sierra Vista Life at the end of the day as well. Please see Mrs. Terranova in room 1002 if you have any questions.

CANYON ASB – Attention 8th graders that are interested in applying for ASB at Canyon High School: there will be an informative meeting held in the MPR on Tuesday, April 17th, from 1:10-2:10pm. The Canyon ASB adviser and students will be talking about how to apply for ASB as your 9th grade elective.

CHS DANCE TEAM – CHS Dance Team Tryouts: Hey eighth graders! Do you love to dance? Is dancing one of your favorite things to do? Would you like to join Canyon’s Dance Team next year? Auditions and mandatory parent meeting begin Monday, April 23rd.

DANCE TEAM PROCESS:

04/23/18 – Mandatory Parent Meeting in CHS Library at 7:00pm

04/25/18 – Dance Team Auditions Clinic in CHS Aux Gym 3:30pm-5:30pm

04/26 /18 – Dance Tryouts in Dance Room AA1  3:30-5:30pm

04/30/18 – Dancers will be announced at 3:00pm. Results will be posted outside the Dance Room AA1 and send to office of each participating school.

PENNY WARS – We had a great turn out for yesterday’s Penny Wars…but this is only the beginning! Stay tuned to hear which teams are in the lead next week! Don’t forget that pennies are NEGATIVE points and silver change/bills/checks and online donations are POSITIVE points. The team that earns the most positive points per student gets a pizza party!!! So keep collecting that change! The next turn in date will be  on Thursday, April 19th , in the quad during brunch!
