MAGIC MOUNTAIN TRIP – The 8th grade Magic Mountain trip is Wednesday, May 30th. Information packets and permission slips are now available at the ASB Window, and tickets are now on sale. Ticket prices are $55 for regular admission, but only $20 if you own a current season pass. Your ticket includes a t-shirt, transportation, and admission to the park. The last day to purchase a ticket is Friday, May 4th, but don’t wait until the last day because the line will be extremely long. When purchasing a ticket, please have your ID card, and make sure you’re not on the library or demerit LOP list. Season pass holders must show their pass when they purchase their ticket.

DFY IN SCV – Attention all DFY in SCV members…..We will be having our April meeting on Monday, April 23rd at lunch. We will see you there. We will be meeting in the MPR.

LIP SYNC BATTLE – It’s finally here! The 2017-2018 Lip Sync battle for reaching our school-wide goal for our fall Popcornopolis fundraiser will be on Tuesday, April 24th. The battle will take place at the outdoor stage at the beginning of lunch. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to see your teachers put on an epic performance that everyone will be talking about for years to come!

SPIRIT WEEK – Spirit week begins Monday with ‘Merica Monday, so wear red, white and/or blue. Let’s show our spirit all next week, Sierra Vista!

PENNY WARS – We had a great turn out for yesterday’s Penny Wars…but we still have one more week to go! Stay tuned to hear which teams are in the lead next week! We’re getting closer to our school-wide goal of $5000, but we’re not there yet. Remember that your donations help adults and children battling cancer. The FINAL turn in date will be on Thursday, April 26th , in the quad during brunch!

STAFF VS STUDENTS SOFTBALL – Attention 8th Graders! Thursday and Friday, April 26th and 27th will be tryouts for our 4th annual Staff vs. Student Softball team. Tryouts will take place after school on the field by the long jump pit. If you cannot attend both days please come see Mrs. Hatfield or Ms. Bregger.
