Club Rush: Today is Club Rush. Come to the outdoor stage during lunch to check out the clubs that Sierra Vista offers. Feel free to sign up for clubs that you’re interested in. If you’d like to start a club, please pick up a “Club Charter Form” from the ASB window.

Spirit Week: Next week October 15-19 is spirit week. On Monday wear your comfy PJ’s and come out to the quad at brunch to spin the spirit wheel to win a prize. Tuesday wear your favorite flannel. Wednesday wear a black or Orange shirt for Halloween. Thursday wear your future college or high school shirt. And Friday is Lee denim day so wear a pink or white shirt with jeans to support Breast cancer awareness. The team with the most spirit earns spirit points and gets Petey for a week. ASB hopes to see you show your school spirit.

Pizza Party: Attention all Gold Rush and Trailblazers students that donated during the “Let’s Do This” fundraiser: the pizza party for being the winning 7th and 8th grade teams is on Tuesday, October 16th, during lunch. Gold Rush students will be receiving their pizza in room 1204, and Trailblazers will get their pizza in room 103, but please remember, only students that acquired donations get to participate.

Food Truck: Friday, October 19th, is our first “Food Truck Friday” from 2:30 -3:30 pm behind the fitness center. All students are welcome to stay after school and purchase some delicious food from the food trucks, and hang out with their friends. So far, we will be having the LA Donut truck, Cunchys Shaved Ice and Flavored Water Truck, Mexican Chuck Food Truck, Keep on Grubbin – delicious sandwiches food truck. ASB will also have music playing, games out and picnic blankets out for attendees. You don’t need to purchase anything to attend, just show your ID card at the entrance. You don’t want to miss out on this delicious event!

Safe School Ambassadors: Attention all Safe School Ambassadors! Our first regular meeting will be Monday, October 15th, in the MPR at lunch. Please bring your food with you so we can get started right away. You will be introduced to your Family Groups and Family Group Leaders as well as finding out about the Power of One! Thank you in advance for showing up and participating.
