Food Truck Friday: Friday, October 19th, is our first “Food Truck Friday” from 2:30 -3:30 pm behind the fitness center. If you’re attending this event, please line up by gate to the PE fields, but students won’t be permitted to enter until 2:30. After students get their food, they are welcome to sit at the lunch tables and hang out with their friends. Don’t forget to have your ID and bring $10-15 with you so you can buy some delicious food!
Spirit Week: This week is spirit week. Today is “black and orange day” for Halloween. Tomorrow is “wear your future college or high school shirt.” ASB will be coming around to give participants candy during “B” and “C” period classes.
Thirst Project: DFY in SCV is participating in the Thirst Project starting October 17th through November 2nd. We are collecting recyclable plastic water bottles in labeled bins that will be placed around campus. You can also drop off your empty plastic water bottles in room 305. Check out this video about the Thirst Project.
Fun Friday: Come out to the outdoor stage October 19th for Fun Friday! There will be music and a special Halloween pumpkin painting activity. Sign up in room 1002 in groups of 2-3 to participate. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 1002.
DFY in SCV Mountasia Night: is this Friday, 10/19 from 6 to 9:30 pm. The cost is $20 if you show the flier at the door. You can access the flier from the SV website.
Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs and Activities we have the tutor club in room 626 and volleyball intramurals on the PE fields.
