Lost & Found: Be sure to stop by the Lost & Found tables in the quad this Friday during lunch. We have many water bottles, jackets and lunch boxes that might be yours! Anything not claimed will be donated to charity.

8th Grade English Poster Contest: Congratulations to the winners of the 24th annual 8th Grade Poster Contest. The five honorable mentions are Deborah Tinoco, Emily Lopez, Katherine Castillo, Maddeline Martinez, and Samantha Gonzales. The Third Runner-up is Rachel Munesato for her depiction of the book “The Blood of Olympus.” The Second Runner-up is Scarlett Alexis for the book “Peak.” The First Runner-up and Student Choice Winner is Sophia Maybin for the book “Escaping Peril.” And the Grand Prize Winner is Kaylee Guillen for the book “The Last Apprentice.” Come to the SV Library to see all the beautiful work our top 40 finalists on display.

Turkey Week: During next week’s Turkey Week, we will be having the annual “Turkey Games” on Tuesday, November 20, during lunch on the P.E. fields! Participants will compete in a scavenger hunt type of race that includes eight fun games! Participants must complete a game before they can move on to the next one! The top three teams and the top three individuals with the lowest time win an In-N-Out gift certificate AND an ice cream pass (for each participant). Check out the games that you can play!

Thanksgiving Food Drive: We will be collecting non perishable food items for the needy until this Friday! This is a fun team competition and most items are worth 1 event point, but Thanksgiving related items such as: canned green beans, canned sweet potatoes, marshmallows, canned cranberry sauce, gravy mix packet, bread rolls and boxed mashed potatoes are worth 5 points each, and donating a frozen turkey is worth 100 points! Help your team earn spirit points by bringing in these food items this week!

Today in Clubs and Activities:We have the trading card club in room 101, the video game club in room 623 after school, and the fitness club in the fitness center after school.
