On November 10, 2018, Forge Ahead Arts constructed a moving “river” sculpture on the landscape of the Santa Clarita Valley. Participants flowed through Santa Clarita with “Water Is Life” umbrellas, moving around and through the environment, to directly illustrate the scarcity and extremity of water.
“River 4” is the most recent installation in Forge Ahead’s River series, which provides artistic conversations around the drought and preciousness of water.
Forge Ahead raises questions and stimulates dialogue around issues of social concern through a community of artistic expression, appreciation and participation.
