The first day of the annual Craft Fair at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center was a hit as kids young and not-so-young came out to make their own decorations for the holidays.

The fun continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with opportunities to use provided materials to make wreaths, pine cone owls and bird feeders, table displays and more.

The event is hosted by the Placerita Canyon Nature Center Associates and the L.A. County Department of Parks and Recreation. The Nature Center is located on Placerita Canyon Road, 1.5 miles east of the 14 Freeway. A fee is charged to cover the cost of materials.
