Electric vehicle owners now have a new charging station to fuel up at as city officials, local representatives, and community members welcomed the new charging location at a Thursday morning ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new electric vehicle charging station can be found at the Santa Clarita Metrolink Station, located at 22122 Soledad Canyon Road, and can be accessed through a membership with the “EVConnect” app.

This is the eighth charging station to be installed in the city and likely not the last as the city continues to “secure funding sources and locations for additional public electric vehicle charging stations” as part of the city of Santa Clarita’s 2020 Plan.
