Minimum Day: This Thursday is a minimum day, so school gets out at 11:35. Please be sure to let your parents know and plan accordingly.

Talent Show Performers: Congrats again to the students that will be in this year’s Talent Show! Performers: please note that you have practice after school today and on Friday, 3/15, until 3:30pm in the MPR. Don’t forget to bring any music that you might need for your act. 8th Grade BBQ: Every year, the eighth graders have a BBQ at the end of the year! 8th graders, if you have some unique ideas of things you want to have at this years’ BBQ, please fill out a form on the SVLIFE website.

Painting and Phone Photography Class: Calling all artists and photographers! Mrs. Flaherty is hosting a FREE painting and phone photography class after school from 2:15-3:30 p.m. on March 22 in room 614. You will be able to choose between painting on a canvas or creating a phone photo collage on a black cardstock. If you’re interested in signing up or finding out more details, please see Mrs. Knolls in the counseling office for a ticket asap since there are only 35 spots available! Hope to see you there!

“Welcome to Sierra Vista” Video: If you want to check out the “Welcome to Sierra Vista” video that was shown to the 6th graders, which includes LOTS of footage from events we’ve had on campus this year, including clips of last week’s music video, go to the SV Life website to check it out!

Football Camp: Attention students interested in playing football: there is a football camp this Saturday at Canyon for anyone who would like to attend. You do not have to have played football before nor be attending Canyon in the future to come. If you would like anymore information, please see Mr. Maiale in room 206.

Thank You Cards: Come out to the outdoor stage on Thursday at brunch to write a thank you card to any staff member to appreciate all the hard work they do! ASB will deliver the Thank you cards to them!

Veterinarian Talk: Do you have an interest in working with Animals? Have you thought about becoming a veterinarian? On Tuesday, March 19th during lunch we will have a special talk given by Dr. Rachel Sachar, a Los Angeles County Veterinarian. She will share how she chose her profession, what fun things she gets to do in her job and the skills needed to work with animals. If you have an interest in working with animals, please join us. Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs and Activities, we have the Dungeons and Dragon Club in room 1201, the Advanced Band Rehearsal after school from 2:30-3:20, and the fitness club in the fitness center after school.
