Animal Talk: Do you have an interest in working with Animals? Have you thought about becoming a veterinarian? On Tuesday, March 19th, during lunch we will have a special talk given by Dr. Rachel Sachar, a Los Angeles County Veterinarian. She will share how she chose her profession, what fun things she gets to do in her job and the skills needed to work with animals. If you have an interest in working with Animals please join us. Jersey Mike’s Fundraiser: On March 27th, Jersey Mike’s is hosting a “Eat a Sub, Make a Difference” fundraiser night in which all of their profits for the day are donated to the “Cancer for College” organization. If you like Jersey MIke’s, and you’d like to support a worthy cause, then be sure to visit a Jersey Mike’s location on March 27th.

8th Grade Electives: If you’re a 7th grader, and you’re interested in applying for ASB, SV Life or Yearbook as your yearlong elective for 8th grade, please note that the informational meeting has been moved to MONDAY, 3/25, during lunch in the MPR, in which you can learn more about each of the elective classes, and get a start on the application process. This meeting is extremely important, and helps to answer a lot of questions. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621 ahead of time.

Talent Show: If you’re a performer in the Talent Show, please remember to report to the MPR after school today. There is rehearsal after school on Monday as well. Please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621 if you cannot make any of these practices.

Football Camp: Attention students interested in playing football: there is a football camp this Saturday at Canyon for anyone who would like to attend. You do not have to have played football before nor be attending Canyon in the future to come. If you would like anymore information, please see Mr. Maiale in room 206.

Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs and Activities, we have the Meme Club in room 204, Fun Friday at the Outdoor Stage, and Jazz Band Rehearsal after school from 2:30-3:30.
