YEARLONG ELECTIVE APPLICATIONS:  This is just a reminder for 7th graders applying for yearlong electives that the applications and teacher recommendations are due by the end of lunch on Friday.

DFY in SCV X WEEK:  DFY in SCV presents X-Week: Sierra Vista’s X out drugs and alcohol campaign, starting Monday, April 15th through Friday, April 19th.  Activities taking place will include spirit days and a 3-legged race. Stay tuned for details!

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK:  This week is “National Library Week!” If you happen to be in the library this week, please take a moment to thank our awesome librarian’s Mrs. Fulleman and Mrs. Kulesz for all they do make our library great!

FUN FRIDAY:  Come to the quad on Friday April 12th, to race with others while you carry a plastic spoon holding an egg in your mouth! Participants get candy, and winners get even more! Hope to see you there!

LAST DANCE:  Come one, come all! The last dance of the year will be on Friday, April 26th, from 2:30-4:20pm. Tickets will go on sale on Monday for $8, but don’t wait, because prices will go up! The theme is “Carnival” so ASB will have many fun carnival-themed games and prizes for participants. There will also be a food truck, so you don’t want to miss out!

BROWN BAG PRESENTATION:  Attention all students in music electives.  Our next Library Brown Bag Presentation is for you!  At lunch on Thursday April 11th, we’ll be making musical instruments out of ordinary household items.  Our presenters will be honor students in the music program from Canyon High School. Who will make the best instruments?  Will it be choir students, guitar students, or band students? Ask your music teacher for a free ticket for fun and snacks at the library.  If seating is available, all students are welcome.

HANDBALL INTRAMURALS:  April Intramural is handball. Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Each team has 7 players for a total of 14. There will be no sign ups, just the first 14 students to show up to the fitness center will play. The first game  will be this Friday. If you have any question see Mr Drabinski in 1002.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:  Today in clubs and activities, we have the Dungeons and Dragons Club in 1201 and the Tutor club in 620.
