Lacrosse Clinic: If you’re interested in playing lacrosse, there is a FREE clinic that will take place at Central Park on June 8th. Students that are interested should register at kidslacrossesc.com ASAP since there are only 200 spots available.

DFY in SCV: This week, DFY in SCV presents X-Week. (For Tuesday) Hopefully you’re wearing purple, green or black today to support X week for DFY in the SCV! The team with the most participants earns spirit points! On Wednesday – come out to the quad at lunch to spin the question wheel and win prizes. On Thursday – come out to the quad at lunch to participate in a 3-legged race with your friends. And on Friday – wear pajamas to symbolize “put drugs to sleep!”

Safe School Ambassadors: Safe School Ambassadors are meeting today, at lunch in the MPR. Please bring your food and meet with us right away. We will be discussing several important matters including our end-of-the-year celebration potluck! As always, thank you for everything you do for the students and staff at Sierra Vista.

Egg Hunt: On Thursday, at brunch, there will be a “Fortune Egg Compliment Hunt” in the library. Students participating get to search for the eggs that are hidden in the library that have a fortune inside. Students that find an egg also get an Otterpop! To get into the spirit of Easter ASB is hosting and Egg Hunt! During Brunch on Friday April 19th find eggs, bring them to the Outdoor Stage and trade your eggs in for candy! Happy Easter from ASB!

Jameson Robert: Congratulations to Jameson Roberts for her amazing showing so far in the International Equestrian League competitions this year.  She is competing against riders from all of the high schools and junior high schools in Southern California in huge classes of up to 50 riders.  She was ranked 2nd in Freshman Jumpers headed into the last show last weekend. Way to go Jameson!!!

LAST Dance: Come one, come all! The last dance of the year is Friday, April 26th from 2:30-4:30pm. We will be having a donut food truck and other carnival treats, as well as tons of games, and an awesome DJ. Tickets go on sale this Thursday for $5. If you’re interested is preordering some pizza, a hot dog, or a churro for $5 each to eat at the dance, then you MUST place your preorder by the end of lunch on Thursday, April 25th, or there’s no guarantee that there will be more food available for sale during the dance. This is going to be our best dance of the year!

Canyon ASB: Just a reminder for any 8th graders that were applying for ASB as their elective at Canyon that the applications are due this Friday.

Egg Scrambler: This Friday, we have a fun friday where students can play “Egg Scrambler!.” Participants will get to chose one egg out of six, two of which will contain candy. If participants choose a correct egg, they get the candy that’s inside!

Clubs and Activities: Today in clubs and activities, we have the Dungeons and Dragons Club in room 1201, the tutor club in room 610, the SSA Meeting in the MPR, and the Jazz Band Meeting after school from 2:30-3:30
