Summer Enrichment Classes: 7th graders – if you’re interested in taking some Summer Enrichment Courses, there is creative writing, science project, exploratory Spanish, health and exercise, exploratory math, marine sciences, beginning guitar, exploratory art, technology fundamentals, and beginning video production. Please see your counselor for an application.

SvLife: If you’re a 7th grader, and you’re interested in becoming a member of SVLife, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621 this week.

Sierra Vista Library Help: Attention all 7th graders. Would you like to work at our Sierra Vista Library? Applications for the fall 2019 semester are now available. We are looking for responsible students to work at the Circulation Desk who would like to earn some money to spend at the ASB office on items such as field trips, dance tickets, yearbook, and more. The work shifts are before school, or brunch and lunch. This is NOT an elective. Stop by the SV Library if you have any questions or to pick up an application. Applications are due to Mrs. Fulleman by Tuesday, May 21st.

Staff Appreciation: With today being the last day of staff appreciation week, we encourage you to take a moment to let your teachers know how much you appreciate them and all they do for our school.

Gold Rush Gold Medal Students: Congrats to the Gold Rush Gold Medal Students of the Week: Jenna Flannes, Diego Pleitez and Carol Gonzalez

Canyon Yearbook: Any 8th graders interested in taking Yearbook up at Canyon HS next year? There is still time left to apply! Yearbook includes a variety of different jobs within the class from designing the layout of the yearbook, to taking photos of school events (ie. dances, sports, rallies), to writing (ie. spotlight coverage stories, sport game descriptions), to interviewing students and staff to get their perspective of school events, to marketing and advertising of the yearbook, and much more. Please come see Mrs. Saunders in our counseling office for an application.

Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs and Activities we have the Tutor Club in room 610 and the Meme Club in room 204.
