City and Schools host ‘Growing Together’ Parent Resource Symposium

The city of Santa Clarita in partnership with the County of Los Angeles, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, held a parent resource symposium geared towards families with children enrolled in school to learn information regarding Internet safety, drug trends, and more.

 

The panelists included:

· Detective William Velek – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department
· Renee Marshall– College of the Canyons Chair of Early Childhood Education
· Dr. Darrin Privett – Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Emergency Room Doctor
· Brenda Tumasone – San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center
