Disaster Drill: Today at the end of Period E we will have our yearly disaster drill. There will be a special Bell Schedule. All students and staff will participate to practice our emergency response. ASB will be leading fun activities with students while the staff practices their emergency response rules. Remember to be safe at all times during the drill.

Popcornopolis: Popcornopolis orders are due by Friday, October 25th. This money is used to purchase cool things that you use in your classes, and supports field trips. Current rankings are Majestic Mountaineers in 1st place, 2nd is Rangers, 3rd is Trailblazers. 4th is Spurs, 5th is Pioneers, and 6th is Gold Rush. Let’s keep it poppin’ Sierra Vista!

“Let’s Do This”: Attention “Let’s Do This” fundraiser participants: the prize distribution day for students who obtained $100 or more in donations is tomorrow, in the MPR, at LUNCH! Please check the colored lists around campus to see which prize level table you’ll report to for your prizes on Friday. Please be sure to report to the MPR at the beginning of lunch to get your prizes. Please also be sure to bring your student ID card with you to get your prizes. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Terranova ahead of time in room 621.

“Creepy Creatures” Brown Bag Presentation: Attention 7th graders. Today during lunch the SV Library will be hosting a Brown Bag Presentation with the park rangers of the Placerita Nature Center. It’s called “Creepy Creatures”. Get a free ticket from your life science teacher. We will also allow non-ticket holders to attend if space allows, so be sure to come to the library right away at the beginning of lunch. You may eat in the library for this event, plus we will provide free granola bars and water bottles.

Maker’s Space Club: If you would like to join the Maker’s Space club, they meet Tuesdays at lunch in the library.

Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs and Activities, we have the “Creepy Creatures” “Brown Bag Presentation” with the park rangers of the Placerita Nature Center in the library at lunch, the Videomaker club in room 501, and Volleyball Intramurals at the PE Fields at lunch.
