Thursday, October 24, 2019 – During an intense search for a no-bail parolee at large in Val Verde, a wild brush fire mysteriously started a block away. Two Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies jumped into action and attempted to put the fire out. The blaze ripped through a canyon before fire crews were able to knock it down. The cause is under investigation.
