Cross Country: The hart district cross country meet is today. Teachers, please release all cross country students at the 8:30, and wish them good luck!

 

HLS Meeting: The Healthy Lifestyles Club will be hosting a Thoughtful Thursday video during RELAX on tomorrow about the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise routine. Afterwards, consider joining us for a Yoga Pop-up Session at lunch that same day. For more info, please see Mrs. Flaherty in room 615 for a permission slip by November 12th. 


8th Grade Poster Contest Winners: The SV Library and English Department would like to congratulate the winners of the 25th Annual 8th grade poster contest for the 2019-2020 school year. Students earning an Honorable Mention are Isabella Maiorino, Crystal Francis, Emma Koscheski, Carolina Spitzer, and Ruby Torres.  3rd Runner-up for the book “Wings of Fire – Darkstalker” is Andrea Flores, 2nd Runner-up for the book “The Phantom of the Opera” is Isi Eichie, 1st Runner-up for the book “Chains” is Josie Regez, and the Grand Prize & Student Choice winner for the poster of the book “Kira-kira” is Valeria Tiznado. Come to the SV Library to see their wonderful artwork, and all of the finalists’ entries.


HS Ceremony: The Honor Society Installation Ceremony is tomorrow from 5pm to 6pm, and you must arrive no later than 4:45pm to line up! Don’t forget to report to the MPR at lunch tomorrow for our mandatory rehearsal!


HLS Event: Hello Sierra Vista, come out to the outdoor stage at brunch on Friday, November 15. ASB will be holding a club recognition event for the Healthy Lifestyles Club. You can either sign up for the club or participate in the sit-up challenge. 

If you can do 15 or more pushups in 30 seconds or less, you get to choose from some of the healthy snacks provided.


Team Rangers: Team Rangers would like to congratulate our Deputies of the Month, Wyatt Walderon, Joseph Sanchez, Matthew Whitney, Tali Lazar, Bette Fox, Nallely Sandoval. 

 These students are respectful to their teachers, and are well liked by their peers and teachers.  They always put forth 100% effort in all that they do, and they exemplify the Rangers’ motto of Courage, Integrity & Perseverance! It is an honor to have Wyatt, Joseph, Matthew, Tali, Bette, & Nallely, on Team Rangers!


Halloween Cake Decorating: If you were in the Halloween cake decorating class and were cut short because of the fire, Mrs. Fossen will be holding the rest of the class today right after school.  Please remind your parents that you will be cake decorating in room 901 from 2:15-3:15.

 

Lost And Found: Stop by the Lost and Found distribution table TODAY during lunch. We have lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets and sweaters that just might be yours.  Any unclaimed items will be donated to a charity at the end of the day.
