The “Carols to the Community” event at the Westfield Valencia Town Center on Thursday, November 21 brought out many local dignitaries, community members, and an all Hart District choir, with the focus on giving thanks to the community and celebrating the resiliency of Santa Clarita in light of the Saugus High School shooting.

The event was originally planned to celebrate the transformation of the Westfield Valencia Town Center and to showcase the new design and reimagining of the shopping center; however, after the tragedy that occurred Thursday, November 14, the event was reimagined to showcase the William S. Hart High School choirs as the performed inside at Center Court and paid tribute to all those affected by the tragedy.

There were also guided tours that showcased a snapshot of the new look and renovations prior to the start of the event.
