Holiday Spirit Week: Hey Sierra Vista, it’s Holiday Spirit Week!! Monday: Holiday Pajamas (If you don’t have holiday Pjs, you can wear your regular Pajamas) Tuesday: Candy Cane Day (Wear Red or White) Wednesday: Wear a Holiday Hat Thursday: Festive Fashion, and if you are wearing festive fashion come to outdoor stage to spin spirit wheel and win a cool prize! (Wear anything Holiday related)

Spring Honor Society Application: The Spring HONOR SOCIETY application for both 7th & 8th grade is available NOW on the SV website on the Honor Society page. You need your Q1 & Q2 FINAL grades, and you MUST use your student gmail to complete the ONLINE application. See Mrs. Marsh in Room 106 if you need help filling it out!

Lost and Found: Stop by the Lost and Found distribution tables (QUAD) during lunch, on Wednesday, December 18th. We have lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets and sweaters that just might be yours! Any unclaimed items will be donated to a charity at the end of the day.

Outstanding Ornaments: Hey Plainsmen! Come to the outdoor stage at brunch today to participate in OUTSTANDING ORNAMENTS! Shout out a friend and help make a kindness Christmas tree!

Talent Show: If you’re interested in featuring a talent you have in the Talent Show that will take place on February 20th, the winter break would be a great time to work on your talent. Tryouts for the Talent Show will take place shortly after we return from break on February 5th. The top three contestants earn an Amazon spending spree. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621.

Party n Play Day: Attention students that raised $60 or more for the “Let’s Do This” fundraiser – this is just a reminder that the “Party N Play Day” is THIS Thursday. Please be sure to wear comfortable, warm, sensible clothes for inflatables. Students that get to participate will receive a bracelet during their “C” period that they should put on as soon as they receive it, which allows them into the event, which will take place after lunch. If you did not earn the Party N Play Day prize, please see the special classroom listing and schedule posted by your team teachers that state where you will be on this day. A list of students that have obtained $60 or more is posted in the ASB bulletin cabinet on the back of the office. Please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621 if you have any questions.

Universal Studios Grad Bash: (Bulletin Only Today) Attention 8th graders: this year’s end of the year field trip will be to Universal Studios Grad Bash on Friday, May 22nd! Transportation and admission only costs $85, and this special night includes DJs, exclusive park access for grad night students ONLY, and more. You can purchase your ticket starting Monday, December 2. Students who purchase their ticket BEFORE winter break get to choose which bus they want to ride to and from the part, so don’t wait, because students who purchase their ticket AFTER winter break, will get assigned to a bus randomly. Please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621 if you have any questions.

Free Hot Cocoa: Come to the Quad to get free hot cocoa tomorrow at brunch! Supplies are limited, so don’t wait!

Majestic Students of the Month: Majestic Students of the Month; Edgar Padilla:Edgar is a diligent student and a pleasure to have in class. Dominic Cervantes: Dominic is hard-working, responsible, and a pleasure to have in class. He demonstrates these qualities every day. Aaliyah Peart: Aaliyah always asks insightful questions and brings the best out in her lab partner in Science. Nicholas Megerdichian: Nicholas is an amazing student. He is responsible, polite, hard-working, and considerate. it is a joy to have him in class. Shane Brundage: Shane is a gentleman and a scholar with a great sense of humor. Jackson Hastings: Jackson is a loyal fan of the Eagles and is an important contributor to his group in addition to being hard working in history.

Deputies of the Month: Team Rangers would like to congratulate our Deputies of the Month, Adrian Bacha, James Audette, Brayden Humpherys, Lanie Rafkind, Abigail Ortiz, & Emily Avila. These students are respectful to their teachers, and are well liked by their peers and teachers. They always put forth 100% effort in all that they do, and they exemplify the Rangers’ motto of Courage, Integrity & Perseverance! It is an honor to have Adrian, James, Brayden, Lanie, Abigail & Emily on Team Rangers!

Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs And Activities we have the Model Builders Club in Room 501, Karaoke Club in Room 607, Chess and Games Club in Room 301, and SV Cares club in Room 612.
