Healthy Lifestyles Club Meeting: Healthy Lifestyles Club is meeting Thursday, February 20th at lunch in room 615. Please join us to get a Strides for Wellness Challenge update, to get nutrition and fitness tips, as well as to help us finish our next Thoughtful Thursday video! Any and all who are interested in attending are welcome. See you then!

Rangers Deputies of the Month: Team Rangers would like to congratulate our Deputies of the Month, Claire Bomar, Natalia Rugelio, Yolette Linares, Jayden Hayes, Carlos Villa Moreno & Gabriel Villalobos. These students are respectful to their teachers, and are well liked by their peers and teachers. They always put forth 100% effort in all that they do, and they exemplify the Rangers’ motto of Courage, Integrity & Perseverance! It is an honor to have Claire, Natalia, Yolette, Jayden, Carlos & Gabriel on Team Rangers!

Make a Wish: ASB would like to grant your wish! To submit a wish go to the Sierra Vista life link and click on “make a wish.” If you’ve already submitted a wish, ASB may be granting soon!

Kindness Grams: There is no such thing in spreading too much kindness. Kindness Grams are here at Sierra Vista! Go to the SV Life homepage to send a kind note to a friend or someone random. ASB will be delivering the kindness grams during C periods. Make sure to spread kindness at all times!

Spring Dance Theme: Our last dance of the year is coming up on March 27th, and ASB would like to take suggestions for different dance themes that you would like to see at our school. Please complete the google form by going to the sierra vista life homepage and clicking on “Spring Dance Theme” at the top. ASB appreciates your input.

8th Grade BBQ: Hey 8th graders! ASB wants your input for what you’d like to have at your end of the year 8th grade BBQ! Please go to the Sierra Vista Life homepage and use the “8th Grade BBQ Survey” link to vote for some of the things you’d like to have at the BBQ. The survey will close February 28th, so please complete the form ASAP! ASB wants to make this the best BBQ ever, but we need your input! Thanks!

Sprinkle the Donut: Come out to the outdoor stage this Friday to play Sprinkle the Donut, to race others to see who can get more prop sprinkle into the large paper donut. Winner gets a donut.

Santa Clarita Youth Service Project: The Santa Clarita Youth Service Project will be here Wednesday at lunch to give us the Teen “411” on healthy eating habits. They will be available at a table set up on the side of the MPR near. Stop by, learn something new, test your knowledge and get entered in the raffle to win a prize!

African American History Month: The month of February is African American History Month! Did you know that Thurgood Marshall was the first African American ever appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court? He served on the court from 1967 to 1991.
