Dating Violence Awareness Month: February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month! Today, the Child & Family Center of Santa Clarita, will be here showcasing their “Chalk About Love” activity and “Walk in their Shoes” display today at lunch. This will be an opportunity for students to hear real life stories about dating violence and spread messages about healthy relationships and love through sidewalk chalk messages. Join us during lunch outside of the Library! Come participate with us and help spread positive messages about healthy relationships.

Honor Society Yearbook Photo: Honor Society Yearbook photo is on Monday, February 24th at the beginning of RELAX! Report directly to the outdoor stage when brunch ends, so not go to class first, and I will have a “late pass” for you to take back to class after the photo.

Healthy Lifestyles Club: The Healthy Lifestyles Club will be meeting again this Thursday, February 27, at lunch in room 615 to finish our Thoughtful Thursday video.Please join us to complete the video together, and thank you again for all you do!

Santa Clarita Youth Project Raffle Winner: Thank you to all the students who participated in the Santa Clarita Youth Project Teen 411 Lunch Activity Wednesday on Healthy Eating Habits. Students who participated were entered into a drawing to win a prize. February’s Prize Winner is: Fatima Sandoval. Please pick up your prize from Ms. Roth in the Counseling office. March’s teen topic will be on FOMO (The fear of Missing Out).

Black History Month: The month of February is African AmericanHistory Month! Did you know that a man named George Washington Carver invented and developed things we use everyday? This includes cheese, milk, coffee, flour, plastics, and cosmetics.
