Healthy Lifestyles Club: The Healthy Lifestyles Club will be meeting again this Thursday, February 27, at lunch in room 615 to finish our Thoughtful Thursday video. Please join us to complete the video together, and thank you again for all you do!

Library News (Cat Naming and Brown Bag Event): Library News: The voting results are in, and the name of our library’s cat is Dewey! Thank you students for voting. Also, please come to our next Library Brown Bag Presentation. It will be this Thursday, Feb. 27th, during lunch. We will have a professional storyteller, Michael McCarty, who is a world traveler, been on TV commercials, and will share funny and dramatic stories to celebrate Black History Month. See your 7th grade English teacher for a free ticket. Space is limited, but we will seat non-ticket holders as much as possible. The library will also provide free snacks and water bottles, or you may bring your own lunch to eat in the library. And one more library announcement: we will be closed during lunch on Wednesday, the 26th, due to the VIP luncheon.

SV Cup Playoffs: SV Cup Playoffs are here! Starting today we have Canyon FC vs Canyon United, Pateadores vs Canyon Country FC. LGC earn the one seed and a bye today. The semifinals will be Tuesday during lunch and the finals Thursday at lunch. See you on the pitch.

“Finish the Lyric” Challenge: Hey 8th graders! Come out the quad at lunch tomorrow to participate in the 8th grade “finish the lyric” challenge! You will be guessing unfinished lyrics to popular songs, winners get candy!

8th Grade BBQ Survey: Hey 8th graders! ASB wants your input for what you’d like to have at your end of the year 8th grade BBQ! Please go to the Sierra Vista Life homepage and use the “8 Grade BBQ Survey” link to vote for some of the things you’d like to have at the BBQ. Attendance Event: At the end of the quarter, ASB will be having an attendance event for the team that has the best attendance for the 5 week grading period. ASB is going to do this for every quarter for the rest of the year. ONLY the students on that team with perfect attendance will receive an Otter pop! Additionally, the team with the best attendance will get spirit points. So make sure to help out your team to try and get the best attendance. Good Luck!
