Spirit Day Disney/Marvel/Star Wars: Tomorrow is spirit day! Wear your favorite Disney/Marvel/Star Wars attire to help your team earn the most spirit points. Participants get the chance to spin the spirit wheel and win a prize at brunch at the outdoor stage.

Healthy Lifestyles Club Meeting: The Healthy Lifestyles Club will be meeting again tomorrow at lunch in room 615 to finish our Thoughtful Thursday video. Please join us to complete the video together, and thank you again for all you do!

ASB Attendance Event: At the end of the quarter, ASB will be having an attendance event for the team that has the best attendance for the 5 week grading period. ASB is going to do this for every quarter for the rest of the year. ONLY the students on that team with perfect attendance will receive an Otter pop! Additionally, the team with the best attendance will get spirit points. So make sure to help out your team to try and get the best attendance. Good Luck!

The Santa Clarita Sister Cities Program “Sister Cities International’s (SCI) Young Authors and Artists Showcase”: Hey students! The 2019 SCI winners and finalists are currently on exhibit at the Newhall Library until February 27th. For those interested in the 2020 showcase, you can go see the exhibit to get some inspiration. Our local students have what it takes to win! In 2013, a Valencia High School student won a $1,000 grand prize for her essay. In 2016, a Golden Valley High School student’s poetry was one of the finalists. And in 2019, a Saugus High School student’s essay was also one of the finalists.
