Plainsmen Progress Day: Hey Plainsmen! This upcoming Tuesday is Plainsmen Progress Day! Students can stay after school from 1:06–2:10 to get some extra help from their teachers and make up missing assignments! Don’t miss out on this opportunity if you know that you could boost your grades a bit or benefit from some extra help!

DFY in SCV Club Meeting: Attention all DFY in SCV Members: Our next Club meeting is on Monday March 9th during lunch in room 612. See you there!!!

Football Camp: On Saturdays 3/8 and 3/15 Canyon High School is having a football Camp for anyone who is interested. Participants must be 8th Grade or younger; no High School Students. The price is $25. Please come to room 206 at brunch or lunch for a flyer and permission slip.

Lost and Found Distribution: Lost and Found distribution tables will be out during lunch (QUAD), on Wednesday, March 11th. We have jackets and sweaters that just might be yours! Any unclaimed items will be donated to a charity at the end of the day.

Universal Studios Grad Bash: 8th graders: Friday, April 3rd is the last day to purchase your ticket for the Universal Studios Grad Bash that’s on May 22 for $85. Please note – students that wait til the last day to purchase will most likely encounter a very long line at the ASB window when they’re purchasing their ticket, which isn’t enjoyable to wait in. Please do not wait any longer to purchase your ticket if you haven’t done so already since we want all of our 8th graders to be a part of this fun night. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621.

ASB Sign-Ups Meeting: Attention 7th graders that are interested in being in ASB for their 8th grade elective next year: please note that there is an important informational meeting on the application process for ASB in the MPR on Friday, March 13th, at the beginning of lunch! Applications will be available for pick up during this time, as well as a brief presentation of what being an ASB student entails. Please see Mrs. Terranova in room 621 ahead of time if you can not make this meeting.

Strides for Wellness Challenge Participants: Thank you to all who participated in the Strides for Wellness Challenge and/or the Mardi Gras 5K recently! Whether you finished the challenge or just participated in some of it, you took a big step toward your health and well-being. Please check your school email for a follow-up, post-challenge survey. All you have to do is click on the link in the e-mail and answer a few questions to help us plan future events. Your feedback is very important to us, so thank you in advance for filling it out.
