The Victor Fire broke out at 3:30 p.m. near Sierra Highway and Needham Ranch Road in Newhall. As of 5:30 p.m. the fire had spread to 50 acres per Los Angeles County Fire Department and was 10% contained. By 8:20 p.m., the fire reach 20% containment and burned 70 acres.
