SCVTV's Community Corner | Coco Moms Founder Describes Organization’s Mission, Teases 2024 Initiatives
|
It takes a village to raise a child and Coco Moms Founder Kei Kei is creating a village of support for Black moms and their children. Coco Moms is an organization of Black women who understand the unique needs of Black mothers and their families through their own personal experiences. This foundation allows them to provide the necessary resources that foster a supportive, healthy environment for Black women. Between economic advice, facilitating access to crucial medical services, establishing community, or being a source of self-care inspiration, their mission to foster an environment of support in SCV has made huge inroads–and they’re only getting started. Kei Kei and her team are continuing to grow their nonprofit’s reach, with a big initiative in the works for 2024. They have not made an official announcement yet, but this upcoming initiative will require the wider support of the SCV community. Head to the Coco Moms website to stay tuned on their upcoming programs and to see their current programs.
