Families gathered at Skyblue Mesa Elementary School on May 16, 2024, for a ribbon cutting ceremony and library dedication in memory of Dominic Blackwell. The new library, designed for students to immerse themselves in literature and promote independent reading, features a special Spongebob-themed corner dedicated to Dominic. The event, held during the school’s open house, featured members of the Governing Board, Saugus Union School District staff, and community members.
