The NextGen MediaMakers Festival competition presents the 2024 finalists for the Broadcast Show category.

Students from Santa Clarita Valley high schools and junior high schools were invited to submit video entries in the categories of Public Services Announcements, Broadcast Shows, Feature Stories, Silent Films and Short Films. A panel of media industry professionals judged each category, ranking high school and junior high school entries, respectively.

A live ceremony was held on May 18 in the Canyon Country Community Center to bestow awards to first, second and third place of each group. To watch footage of the event click here.

The NextGen MediaMakers Festival aims to establish a support system and network for media professionals, businesses and other organizations; and provide resources, events, classes and workshops and more to create a shared knowledge database.
