Blue Star Ranch’s Executive Director & Co-Founder Nancy Pitchford-Zhe and Co-Founder John Zhe, along with their special guest Cooper the mini horse, discuss their upcoming Motorcycle Poker Ride Fundraiser, and share how equine therapy makes such a positive impact on veterans.

Blue Star Ranch’s co-founders centered their nonprofit on equine therapy and the many benefits it has on veterans working through PTSD.

Cooper the mini horse is one of the many equine friends that work with the Ranch’s clients, helping them readjust to civilian, family, and public life upon returning from active duty.

While we had the opportunity to meet Cooper, we also learned about Blue Star Ranch’s upcoming “Motorcycle Poker Ride Fundraiser”, coming up on Saturday, September 14.

This unique event will be riding into town on September 14, and will begin at Mint Canyon Moose Lodge at 9 a.m. Interested participants can head to the Blue Star Ranch website to learn more about the event and how to participate.
