SCVTV's Community Corner | Canyon HS Teacher Shares Story of Resilience, Advocates for Transplant Awareness
|
Canyon High School Spanish teacher Kelly Seidenkranz shares her inspiring story of how she overcame a serious medical condition and why she continues to inspire those around her to live life to the fullest. This segment was produced by CTE TV Experience student Amelia Sivaborvorn. In 2020, Kelly Seidenkranz unexpectedly experienced a potentially fatal condition called Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection, an often unexpected but rare condition that can commonly affect women under the age of 50. After undergoing surgeries, being on every type of life support, and a lengthy recovery process, Seidenkranz is continuing to live life to the fullest and now advocates for transplant awareness.
