In this segment of SCVTV’s, Laura Jardine, Administrative Analyst for the city of Santa Clarita, shares some valuable information about the launch of the City’s pilot program that’s bringing free mulch and compost to local residents.

The mulch and compost is produced from organics, such as green and food waste. Participating in the program means you’ll be helping the environment, by allowing for more rooms in landfills and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Not to mention, you’ll also have a healthier garden.

You make pick up mulch and compost at the Burrtec Santa Clarita location off of Springbrook Avenue. You may also have it delivered (delivery fees apply).
