In this segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, we chat with inspiring student Brandon Chang, a junior at West Ranch High School, whose love of science has fueled his passion for bringing space and science education to young students around the world, especially those in underserved communities.

Chang is the founder and CEO of GalaxSea Explorers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and space enthusiasts to reach for the stars. Thanks to grants and mentorship from the Dragon Kim Foundation, GalaxSea Explorers provides free space and science education to underserved youth through camps, workshops, digital resources, and DIY kits, many of which are curated by Chang himself.

Now, Chang is expanding his mission by developing free resources for educators and parents as well.
