The City of Santa Clarita holds a ceremony to unveil the River of Lights public art installation at Central Park. The Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra also held a special live performance as the lights illuminated for the first time. The River of Lights installation is a public art piece featuring around 200 embedded lights decorating the park’s exercise staircase and plaza. The piece is designed to promote environmental awareness, spark imagination, and encourage reflection. At the center of the River of Lights is a 14-foot sculpture named “When Cloud Met a Cloud” created by artist Sujin Lim.
