Kicking off this week’s episode of SCVTV’s Community Corner, host Dave Caldwell is joined by guest host Ilyana Capellan, a Southern California native, whose career in communications began in the small market of Dothan, Alabama.

Capellan reflects on her time in the South covering the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it had on her. She also had stints in Bakersfield reporting on lifestyle and entertainment, before returning to her Southern California roots. Capellan shares what life is like now in the Santa Clarita Valley with her husband and two year old son.
