Everyone’s favorite segment is back! It’s pet adoption time at SCVTV’s Community Corner! Outta the Cage’s co-founders Jill Dyche and Tamara Dull brought along two adorable pups ready for their forever homes and one of them may look very familiar!

Back in the spotlight is Milo, the oh-so-handsome Pitbull, who melts hearts everywhere he goes. The playful and lovable pooch is great with older kids and will be the perfect addition for an active family.

We also meet the gorgeous Petunia, a 10-month-old German Shepherd, who has completely recovered from injuries she sustained after being hit by a car. Petunia needs an active pet owner, who’s willing to take her out on long walks and hikes. She’s a quick learner and loves to be trained.

Dyche shares good news about a dog who was rescued from a domestic violence situation. Henry, a purebred Anatolian Shepherd, had his back legs broken by his owner. But he’s made a full recovery and found a loving home with a family who, coincidentally, was looking for this specific breed to adopt.

Additionally, Dyche shines light on the crisis with rehoming, which is the process of finding a new home for a dog who’s owner can no longer take care of them. It’s a way to bypass animal shelters altogether.

Outta the Cage is also gearing up for its annual fundraiser, “One Liner Madness,” which will be held Friday, Sept. 19, at The Paramount, 2708 E. Cesar E. Chavez Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90033. Doors open at 7 p.m, while the show begins at 8 p.m.
