The city of Santa Clarita recently took over the day-to-day operations of William S. Hart Park from Los Angeles County. Since becoming Santa Clarita’s 40th park, the City has been working on expanding access and programs for the community to enjoy.

One such access is the reopening of the park’s iconic Ranch House, Hart’s first home, which has been closed since 2020. Visitors can now enjoy self-guided tours and get an intimate look at the life of a man who’s legacy will be forever tied to the rich history of the Santa Clarita Valley.
