On September 24, 2025, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley celebrated the grand opening of its new Panda Cares Center of Hope with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the James T. Ventress Clubhouse. The event brought together Club members, families, staff, community leaders, and elected officials to mark the unveiling of a dedicated space designed to inspire young people to dream, recharge, and reach their full potential.

Elected officials attending the celebration included Mayor Bill Miranda, Councilwoman Marsha McLean, and representatives making presentations on behalf of Congressman George Whitesides,  State Senator Suzette Valladares and Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo.

This project was made possible through the generous support of the Panda Cares Foundation. With the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, they will partner to expand Centers of Hope across the country, with the goal of establishing more than 500 by the year 2030.
