Tap into the vibrant traditions of Native American heritage at the beloved 31st annual Hart of the West Powwow on Oct. 4 and 5.

The highly-anticipated, two-day event, hosted by the Tataviam Band of Mission Indians, brings together multiple tribes from around the United States for a celebration that’s steeped in culture and full of the rich tapestry of Indigenous peoples.

Tribal President Rudy Ortega and Joe Bodle, Tribal Senator, give us a sneak preview of this year’s free, family-friendly event, which will include traditional dancing, singing, drum circles and Native American food.
