It’s time to raise a glass for public education at the highly-anticipated WiSH Education Foundation’s annual Wine Under the Roof!

WiSH Executive Director Amy Daniels and Christy Alben, chair of Wine Under the Roof, share some fabulous details of the premier event, which will take place Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Bella Vida Santa Clarita Senior Center.

The unforgettable evening will include a wine / appetizer hour, delicious five-course dinner curated by some of the Santa Clarita Valley’s talented chefs, exciting auction items and live entertainment.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the host of vital programs and resources offered through WiSH, including mental health services, special education, STEM and so much more.

Ahead of Wine Under the Roof, WiSH will also present “Ascend,” Saturday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Saugus High School. The conference will highlight five accomplished female leaders from multiple industries who will discuss overcoming challenges and struggles on their way to successful careers. Alben, who’s also chair of “Ascend,” said the event is geared toward girls 13–18. However, boys are also welcome (and very much encouraged) to attend.
