In the Opening Segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, co-hosts Dave Caldwell and Carrie Lujan kick things off with just some of the recent community events that were held throughout Santa Clarita!

Lujan shared a firsthand account of the State of the City, which showcases the incredible work of the city of Santa Clarita on behalf of the community. Lujan also provided some highlights from two meaningful and inspirational events she attended – Circle of Hope Annual Tea and Finally Family Homes Poker Tournament, which raised funds for two very worthy causes. Circle of Hope offers programs, services, and support to the Santa Clarita Valley cancer community. Finally Family Homes provides outreach and assistance to young adults in the Santa Clarita Valley who are at risk of experiencing homelessness or aging out of foster care.

And we get into the spooky season spirit with a little Halloween fun! Discover which Santa Clarita streets made it to our creative costume segment!
