College of the Canyons will be launching the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program in Fall of 2026. Anna Hillary, faculty director of COC, shares details of the growing field and discussed what the curriculum encompasses.

The cost-effective program offers students hands-on experience and is the the first of its kind in the Santa Clarita Valley.

OTA’s provide rehabilitation to those patients who have suffered injuries, strokes or accidents.
