Rain didn’t dampen the holiday spirits of the hundreds of Santa Clarita Valley community members, including co-host Carrie Lujan, who braved the stormy weather to take part in recent meaningful events. Lujan participated in Bridge to Home’s Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run, which raised funds for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Lujan then took her holiday spirit and headed over to the beloved tradition, “Light Up Main Street,” where families gathered despite the weather and enjoyed fun-filled activities and yuletide cheer.

But the holiday events continue throughout the Santa Clarita Valley! Lujan and co-host Dave Caldwell give us a sneak preview of Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra’s family-friendly concert, “Sounds of the Season.” The winter performance will take place Sunday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m., at the Canyon High School Performing Arts Center. The Center will be decked in magical and festive decor, including beautiful poinsettias that will be raffled off after the concert.
